This is again an old photo. I took it on a farm near Arniston during a weekend trip with my photo club. Every now and then I find it helpful to shoot around other photographers, because I hate coming away with the same photos as them, I always try something different.

Juan’s photo of his keyboard reminded me of this one I made to force myself to touchtype. It worked great and looked awesome… but I lost the spring for the spacebar when I took it apart, so I had to use a much stronger spring from a click-pen to put it back together.

I resigned the ’board when I started to get blisters on my thumb from whacking the spacebar so hard.

Last night there was a seriously thick bit of mist rolling in at about 11pm so I went looking for photos on the way home.

The mall parking lot was teh first port of call, ’cos repeating patterns disappearing into the mist are always cool, but when I got there it wasn’t quite what I had expected, so I shot the petrol station across the road instead.

I think the cars kind of ruin the abandoned look I was going for, but I wasn’t in the mood for getting mugged, so I left pretty quick.
