I am holidaying with Alys’ family in Mosselbaai this year, staying at Riverside, where this was taken.
I have been waiting for an opportunity to use the R72 filter that I ordered months ago, but it’s taken until now to find a nice suitable scene. Only foliage glows nicely under IR it seems.

I was actually using my camera to try and read the name on this boat, since there are very few yachts with brown sails.
The ”Spirit of Victoria” is one, and I have been on it, since Alys won my family a trip on, and looks very similar (to my landlubbing eyes) to this one.

This is my beautiful neice-in-law-to-be, Takara. I ended up at her birthday party with my film camera sporting a 135mm prime, because my digital's batteries were flat. Kids prove to be very difficult to catch without autofocus, but I really like this shot. I think it's a classic example of constraints breeding creativity.
